Codi has a Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and a Bachelors of Science degree in Speech and Language Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. Following her education, Codi has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing skilled rehabilitation to patients of all ages with acquired traumatic brain injury and stroke, including infants to geriatrics. Codi has dedicated her career to working in neurological recovery, primarily in the acute care and outpatient hospital settings. Codi has a passion for developing high tech alternative and augmentative communication systems, and she enjoys generating innovative solutions for individuals who have sustained cognitive, swallowing, voice, or communication changes. Her specialty certifications include: Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT-LOUD), McNeil Dysphagia Therapy Protocol for Swallowing (MDTP), AmpCare Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), and manual therapy techniques (Lymphatic drainage, Myofascial Release). For fun, Codi enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family, friends, and her dogs!
