Michelle Reed graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2004 with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. She went on to work for 9 years as a registered nurse in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, focused on the in-patient care of severe traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, neoplasm, and neurological disorders. During that time, she also earned a Master's of Science in Nursing Education, and worked as an adjunct faculty member and clinical instructor for Marymount University in Northern Virginia. She graduated in 2013 with a Post-Master's Certificate for Family Nurse Practitioner at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has worked since that time as a Nurse Practitioner in the skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation setting, providing primary care to the medically complex population of medical rehabilitation patients and long-term care residents. In 2017, she and her family moved to the metro Denver region, and she was thrilled to join the care team at Colorado Concussion Clinic in 2019.
